What is Cliradex?

Cliradex is an all-natural, preservative free cleanser that unlike traditional cleansers derived from man-made chemicals is instead a natural way to keep your eyelids and skin clean, comfortable and healthy. The all natural formulation is safe for everyday use as part of a regular ocular and facial hygiene regimen.  Cliradex is a moist towelette and is derived from key constituents of Melaleuca alterifolia, a special variety of tea tree oil.  It is the only commercially available product that isolates 4-Terpineol, the most important ingredient found in tea tree oil.

How much Cliradex do I need to treat my blepharitis?

Cliradex is intended to be used once or twice daily depending on the severity of your condition and the advice given by our highly experienced optometrists.

In most conditions such as blepharitis and in most individuals 3 boxes (a 30 day supply) will produce good results and 6 boxes (a 60 day supply) will get them comfortably in a healthy, maintenance state.

In treating in demodex infections we need to factor in the initial eradication of the mites, as well as their 30 day incubation period, so a minimum of 60 days is recommended for the initial treatment.

Maintenance will vary from person to person and may only require use once per day or a few times per week.
