100% Optical 2017 – Peter and Craig to deliver lecture

Our optometrists Peter Ivins and Craig McArthur have been invited once again to lecture at 100% Optical the UK’s largest optical event at the Excel Arena in London in February 2017. The pair will be delivering a lecture on the main stage to academics, optometrists, opticians,  optical assistants and practice owners from across the UK.  The lecture will focus on the technological advancements currently utilised at Peter Ivins Eye Care in Glasgow. And how technology can improve early diagnosis, management and monitoring of conditions such as glaucoma, macular disease and diabetic retinopathy, and overall improve patient care and well-being.  Peter Ivins Eye Care has established itself as an industry leader in the use of technology as was award Technology Practice of the Year 2015 at the UK Optician Awards in Birmingham.

What is 100% Optical?

Since launching in 2014 100% Optical has quickly established itself as the largest optical event in the UK, attracting over 7,500 international visitors and more than 200 exhibitors at this year’s edition in February. Peter and Craig delivered a lecture at the first 100% Optical in 2014 and are dlighted to be returning.

Organised in partnership with the Association of Optometrists (AOP), the annual show provides a platform for professionals to:

• Source the latest eyewear, technology and solutions for their business
• Gain invaluable CET points as part of the world leading education programme
• Network with fellow industry peers through one to one meetings or parties

Taking place between 4-6 February 2017 at ExCeL London, 100% Optical is the must attend event for the optical industry.
