Every sunglass has been handpicked by our team of expert and highly experienced dispensing opticians to ensure our collection is up-to-date with latest fashion trends. There is no faceless head office centrally buying frames on our behalf at Peter Ivins Eye Care.
Being an independent practice means we are not tied to any particular brands, if Peter and Craig are lecturing at conference somewhere and see a cool range of frames or sunglasses they can simply buy the range. We view collections thorughout the year and select the best for our patient. We often pick frames with individual patients in mind – “Mr X would love that….Mrs Y would look great in those”. Our opticians and optometrists have over 100 years of combined experience fitting and selecting sunglasses.

We have around 250+ sunglasses in store to choose from. There are ranges for adults, kids and teenagers and everything is available in either prescription or non-prescription.
Our expert dispensing opticians offer an individual personal shopping service to everyone when selecting frames or designer sunglasses. This will allow you to discuss your needs from a pair of sunglasses, discuss styles and exactly how you will be using your new designer sunglasses to allow our opticians to help select sunglasses that offer the most appropriate UV protection, the perfect fit and that look cool.
