Maui Jim Olu'Olu Sunglass with MAUIGreen mirrored polarised lenses

We love Maui Jim sunglasses. In fact, we love them so much we are Scotland’s largest stockist. The weekend on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th June 2019 we will have a Maui Jim expert Michael and every Maui Jim style and colour available for you to try. Michael and our in-house experts will be on hand to help you select from the best sunglasses money can buy. Maui Jim sunglasses are available in non-prescription, Maui Reader and Maui Jim Prescription sunglasses.

Maui Jim Prescription Sunglasses

If you already wear spectacles for distance, reading or even if you wear a varifocal, we can offer you a custom-made Maui Jim Prescription sunglass via the MauiPaassport service. Almost the entire range of Maui Jim sunglasses is available in prescription (95% of the range is available) in a variety of lens materials, lens colours and lens finishes.  If every member of staff at Peter Ivins Eye Care wears Maui Jim sunglasses there must be a good reason. I just bought my 6th pair!

Our expert dispensing opticians can discuss with you your prescription, facial characteristics and lifestyle and make recommendations on which lens type, lens material, tint colour and finish will suit you best.  Maui prescription sunglasses are an excellent option for most. Most prescription sunglasses correct your vision but obscure the brilliant world around you. MauiPassport prescription sunglasses help you see more of the world’s vibrant beauty.

Utilizing digital lens design and cutting-edge direct surfacing technology, MauiPassport lenses deliver the widest possible field of view for incredible visual acuity across the entire lens. This process also produces prescriptions that are 10 times more accurate than those of conventional labs and maintains the highest optical and quality standards in the industry.

In every MauiPassport sunglass lens, Maui Jim’s PolarizedPlus2 technology shields your eyes from glare and harmful UV while enhancing the world’s vibrant colours and intricate details. They eliminate 99.9% of glare, enhances colour and contras and promotes eye health.

Our Maui Jim event is the perfect time to treat yourself to a pair of prescription Maui Jim sunglasses.

What are the benefits of Maui Jim Prescription sunglasses lenses?

See true

Glare washes out colours, obscures details, and fatigues your eyes. Maui Jim PolarizedPlus2® lenses eliminate 99.9% of glare, allowing you to see the world at its brilliant best. Featuring the industry’s most advanced production techniques, Maui Jim lenses create an amazing difference you’ll see immediately.

Perceive More

Many sunglass lenses simply darken your view, dimming and fading colour for a flat, low-contrast perspective.

Maui Jim PolarizedPlus2® lenses enhance the colours your eyes naturally perceive. So you see vibrant, saturated colours with a higher level of contrast and greater depth perception.

Be Well

Just like your skin, your eyes need protection from exposure to the sun’s rays. PolarizedPlus2® lenses eliminate 100% of UV radiation and provide protection against a number of additional stresses, helping your eyes stay healthy so you can keep taking in all the world’s beauty.

Live Freely

Maui Jim sunglasses are meant to be worn, on sunny and cloudy days, on the beach and city streets. They’re there to protect your eyes and reveal the world’s brilliance, so the last thing we want is for you to worry about them.  Maui PolarizedPlus2® lenses incorporate a number of technologies specifically intended to maximize durability and convenience.
